Iron&Pin  the brainchild of Norwich-based designer Tom Hayden is an independent apparel company founded in Norwich by 22 year old fashion designer,  specialising in handmade, tailored trousers with a personal touch, but also experience in a wider range of areas, for example, handmade vests, screen printed t-shirts etc. The hard work behind the company is evident in the care and attention given to every detail of each garment, he tends not  to aspire to any other artists but wants to develop his own style and technique, without being subconsciously influenced by any other design already in circulation.

With the death of skinny jeans Iron&Pin have stepped into the fold to make trousers just as easy to wear but with a more refined look and feel through the attention to detail and well considered shape and colour create an out come of quality that you can’t buy on the high street.  He has always been inspired by his origins in Britain and his family background and he finds a lot of encouragement in reflecting on both his past and present situations and the colours which he can link to them.

The t-shirts are all a little oversized with the intention of the wearer looking relaxed and casual and styling points include cuffs on t-shirts, low neck lines a mixture of jersey and shirting used in the shirts, ankle ties, curved button plackets and extended cuff plackets.

The trench coat in particular is made to look better whilst walking and has a different look with each button combination and the Blunt shirt has a collar design which gets inspiration from past victorian ages. Tom Hayden seeks to set right what countless brands have messed up since the birth of off-the-rack clothing, by breathing new life into trousers and retailing them at affordable price-points.
