Biker Babes and Boys

                                               Leather Jackets for A/W2011/12
You don’t need a Harley to jump on this season’s biker trend, but it sure wouldn’t hurt. Whether you pair yours with lace or spiked studs, you’ll have trouble making it through autumn without a leather jacket. The answer may lie in a trend that has been around for some time, but a trend that hasn’t been able to be much more than a blip on the radar while in the shadow of military fashion. The trend? The biker jacket. If that staple’s well covered in your closet, trends begin, they evolve, and then they fade or simply become a standard. Skinny jeans became a standard, the military trend cannot.
So as 2011's fashion trends come to fruition, as we move fully into a new decade, and as military chic becomes as drawn out as the war that inspired it, what becomes of the military influences that have helped keep the likes of Balmain and DSquared2 in fashionisers’ conscience? What replaces it? Can you imagine the military trend without a military jacket? Not possible. And so it goes without saying that the biker jacketis the key statement piece for the  motorcycle / biker fashion trend.
Natuarally not any biker jacket will do, but the biker jacket in 2011 nees to be much more of a statement piece. This is a fast growing trend, keep in mind it’s not the typical black leather type. This year designers have put out some wonderful biker inspired jackets, pastels, bright classic colours, and yes some metallic jobs.Chic and stylish, leather is showing up everywhere. With the plethora of styles showing up, there's a leather investment piece out there for everyone. No longer relegated to some punkster's wardobe, it has become ultra-feminine, and glamourous women and fashion conscious men can get in on the leather craze too.

The traditional view of biker clothing is that it should come in any colour – as long as it’s black. But as a current trend that’s not the case designers such as Versace and Aminaka Wilmont, definitely see the trend of Biker clothing being transformed into a fashion by introducing sleek jackets, skirts and trousers into the arena for A/W 2011.The trend will include biker jackets that are not just available in a simple black colour but other colours to suit your taste. Including silver, beige, and two-tone leather. Cuts will be available as above the waist or trench coat looks.
The men’s leather fashion is Leather jackets may be extremely stylish and popular this year, but the truth is they are never out of style. The A/W trend in leather jackets in various shapes and sizes. Different lengths such as trench coat, knee, three quarter, and hip all dominate. Even square-shaped, leather bomber jackets have made their return. Popular colours for leather jackets are the traditional black and brown, both available in fashionable vintage leather.
Don’t save your leather jacket for rock chick moments. Instead, make it work doubly hard by using it to toughen up a chic daytime dress to take on urban trends. Get styled up in a leather and faux fur flying jacket this winter. Complete your jacket with skin-tight skinnies and a city tote for instant cool. To add the final touch to the Biker look, Motorcycle boots will be seen in many designs...The Love Clothing look.
