Come Over to The Dark Side...

Black Leather - Autumn/Winter 2012-13
Nothing beats the look of leather, it has that sophisticated look that adds an edge as an added accessory or an all over look. Look to the dark side for wardrobe inspiration this Autumn with separates in tight black leather,  from knee-length leather coats the cover-up to covet this season - just opt for classic shapes with little to no detailing, save for a neat belt.

Skirts and shirts, the skirts this season are just sublime! ever one to shy away from a touch of glamour, the Versace Goth girl wore armour of black leather adorned with black studs and bejewelled cross motifs; a look certainly not for the faint hearted.

Rather thin and fluid, preferably black, with a second skin effect, leather can be found everywhere, in a combination or a total look dress, and passing onto jackets and coats which are made of a thicker leather, like a shell. A material which is indispensable for next season, worked on more and more preciously, with various games of colours and delicate weavings. the best way to approach leather is never to think of it the rocker-dominatrix context, that’s great for editorials but not for style, think of it as the smartest piece of clothing you own and style it up from there.

So  always go a size up especially if you have a bust we want it to look smart, if it hugs the body it can look vampy, wear a leather t-shirt over a tailored high collared white shirt with  a pencil skirt or tapered trousers for the office.

Giving glamour and rich with suggestion rebel, vixen, dominatrix, glossy black leather offers a sleek take on autumn's new decadent air.
